Seven Ladies attended the Department of Iowa AMVETS
Convention held in Marshalltown June 2nd - June 4th. The Waverly
AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary won the Department Hospital
Chairman's award. This award is presented to the Auxiliary
that has done the most outstanding work for our veterans in the
hospitals in the past year. We also won the Community Service
award - Donor Lavon Juhl, PDP. This award is presented to the
Auxiliary that has the highest percentage of activities or
project that benefits adults or both children and adults in the
Columnist. Congratulations to all the Volunteers. |
